Description

ISO 14001 is an international standard for environmental management that helps organizations manage and reduce their impact on the environment. The standard sets requirements for setting up, implementing, maintaining, and improving an environmental management system (EMS) in an organization. The purpose of ISO 14001 is to help organizations reduce their environmental impact by establishing environmental policies, identifying environmental risks and opportunities, setting objectives, and implementing actions to achieve these objectives. By following these steps, organizations can reduce their environmental impact while complying with laws and regulations. The ISO 14001 certification process involves an assessment by a third-party auditor to verify that the organization meets the standard’s requirements. If the organization meets the standard, it can obtain ISO 14001 certification, which can be used to show that the organization meets international environmental standards. Implementing ISO 14001 can bring benefits to organizations, such as cost savings through more efficient use of energy and raw materials, increased customer satisfaction, and a better reputation for sustainability.

Previous education
No prior education is required. The course is easy for someone who is committed to it.

Certificate and duration
The course takes 4 to 5 hours, depending on the time invested. We recommend going through all modules at least twice so that the knowledge is retained. After learning the theory, the student takes a final exam. If the student has completed the online exam with a correct score of 70% or more, he/she has automatically passed. Your certificate can be easily, directly downloaded, and/or printed online.
